Buhari to Announce open ECOWAS meeting on herders/ranchers clashes





The government, as a team with the ECOWAS Commission, will have a sub-territorial clerical getting to meet up with answers for the difficulties postured by the repetitive clashes amongst herders and agriculturists in the locale. 

President Muhammadu Buhari is relied upon to proclaim the Ministerial Conference open on 26th April 2018. 

Clergyman of Interior, Lieutenant Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (Red) made this known on Monday in Abuja in front of the gathering, which will include the nations in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) sub-locale. 

An announcement said by the Director, Press and Public Relations of the Ministry, Mr Hassan Dodo, said the gathering would occur on Thursday, 26th April 2018 at ECOWAS Commission, Abuja, and would be gone before by administrative specialists meeting from 24th to 25th April 2018. 

Dambazau clarified that the addressing was educated by the need to receive an organized territorial approach in tending to the acceleration of instances of contentions amongst herders and ranchers, and the orderly killings, interruption of financial exercises, and removal of natives in every one of the nations in the district.

The Minister said each ECOWAS part state would be spoken to by two agents involving the Ministers accountable for Internal Security, and Agriculture.
