NYSC DG - New lowest pay permitted by law will decide corps individuals' recompense

Sulaiman Kazaure, the Director General, National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), has implied of addition in corps individuals' month to month remittance. 

Kazaure said execution of new national the lowest pay permitted by law by the central government will decide an addition in Corps individuals' stipend. 

He said this on Monday while handling inquiries from newsmen after the swearing-in function of the 2018 Batch 'A' corps individuals at the NYSC introduction camp in Kusalla, Karaye Local Government Area of Kano state. 

As indicated by him, "Our endeavors to guarantee that the month to month stipend of the corps individuals is expanded have yielded a decent outcome following arrangement of talk with the Minister of Labor and Productivity, Chris Ngige. 

"The N18,800 paid to Corps individuals is terribly lacking to cook for their requirements amid the compulsory one year administration to the country.

"The government had set-up a board of trustees to investigate the upward survey of the lowest pay permitted by law which will decide the expansion of the corps individuals' remittance."
