Lekan Balogun speaks on abduction of his twins

The Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, has spoke to the hijackers of his five-year-old twins to discharge them.

He made the supplication while talking with the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The mother was later discharged in the wake of driving them to an obscure area while they left with the twins.

Balogun, talking on the advancement; engaged the criminals to hold up under with him as he doesn't have the payoff being asked.

He stated, "The ruffians at first requested N100 million payoff and later lessened it to N40 million.

"I could offer them N5 million, which was rejected.

"The ruffians ought to please shoulder with me and restore my children. I am prepared to do anything that will make them upbeat.

"I would prefer not to imperil the lives of my children and I am not out to battle them in light of the fact that there is no purpose behind that," he argued.
